Good game, but the shield doesn't work, if i get hit once, i lose a live, is it a bug, or on purpose?

Yes, this would be a good game. I really like the continue feature here, that way less skilled players can still experience the game. The game also seems to have a good bit of balance to it, nothing's really just over-kill.

It's just another generic shoot-em-up with nothing fun or interesting about it.

Well, I guess since the beginning the idea was to just create a fast-paced shooter where you don't have to think too much (which explains lack of story) and so we went on with it AND we created what we created - a yet another shoot-em-up whose distinguishable characteristics are difficulty and variety in enemy tactics :).
