Reviews for "Fear Unlimited Issue2"

well i give it a 8

i think its better then some other games i give u that needs better music

but least u tryd to make it a copy of dmc i give u that im a fan also but if u make another make a character custimiz think like make ur characeter look difrent

Good Improvement.

This is better then ate first version, much less glitchy, and has a story line. Controls need a once over though. Also try making it easier to stay focused on one enemy and not pass through them. Thats my major complaint, if I am on an enemy i cant hit them yet they hit me. Either make it one or they other, otherwise keep working on it.

this is great

combos, weapons, everything

good and yet bad

i couldnt stand playin it because it was just that bad. and i like most games here on ng. so overall it had some good graphics just horrible gameplay. wish i could at least even get just one damn medal. but i can't even fathom the time to get it.

Fear Incomplete

Because, like another user, my gameplay halter after my defeat of Mammon, I cannot rate this as a completed work. Normally I would not give stars to an incomplete work, however there is effort and the fact that until the end of M4, it is a good game, despite opinions otherwise.

First, no enemy (as far as I've gotten) is unbeatable. You could, in fact, beat each one without being touched by them - theoretically, at least. All you need is the right strategy, as often suggested by Donovan's tips. I will so no further on this count, except that I often like to charge my Abyssal Runes with the tonfas (Hino & Jukata which Encon gained in Issue 1), or in sustainable rises and hammers with Anima. The bite DOES remain with the dragon, though. I do agree that Celcius (or her sister) has too much HP for that point in the game, although my strategy for her is neither long nor overly tiring.

I do suffer from the glitch in the floor, although I can jump out of that. Also, sometimes a monk starts to phase into one position only to reappear in another, which is why I've developed a head-count strategy where I wait until everyone's materialized before engaging the attack wave.

While I enjoy the wall-run ability I never knew Encon had, I miss the ability to dodge by diving forward as well as backward. I don't have a problem with rate or attack speed, and my laptop's at least 8 years old. If I can do it, so can you. Probably.

The Hunchmonks' kamikaze style is also nothing new, it's just that in Full Edit their explosions didn't hurt. To counter this, I charge the Demonics and attack from affar once I've knocked them down to 2 flames by way of Anima. The Swordarms are similarly easy with ceaseless special attacks. I avoid the Mauloporter's injurious teleportation ability by staying in close as much as possible, and I have found a way to counter Mammon's stun-stalactite with ease. It's so easy you'll kick yourself for not getting it.

I appreciate the medals system, having gained 4: Sadistic Assassin; Merciless Killer; M2 Untouchable; M4 Untouchable.

So as far as I got, a good game, if incomplete and thus leaving a feeling of unfulfillment. Unfortunately. I would recommend going through the bugs to fix them so we can see all the new weapons and creatures that were promised us in your comments, etc.

Knowing that your series rocks, I wish you all the best of luck in your future releases, Donovan. I hope your partnership with NemesisTheory also continues.
