It's good, it's just a bit too glitched and hard, but i still think it's good,
at least it's better than Thing-Thing Arena 3... But not as good as Alkie kong 2.

Nice idea, Poor execution
The gameplay is just like DMC, which is a good thing. You picked a good game to try to recreate, however, the controls are very counter intuitive. Why wouldn't the UP button be what makes you jump? The sword combos are nice to look at, but with only 3 different sword attacks (Regular combo, Super combo, Jump slash) looking cool isn't enough, and they are basically made useless by the gun. Every encounter can be handled by shooting in both directions, then jumping over your enemies heads to safety. A nice effort, but the fun factor just wasn't there.
Uh... let down again.
Once again man, I am dissapointed. No, your game isn't horrible. It just isn't enjoyable. You obviously put in a lot of effort into this game, and I can see that but you still have a lot of glitches that need fixing. For example the fall through the floor glitch... what the heck is that all about. You also need to tone the difficulty down a bit. I can understand difficult games, in fact I enjoy difficult games. This game, however, is ridiculously difficult. I get my ass kicked on the lowest difficulty. Normally the lowest difficulty is for all the people who just aren't gifted with gaming abilities, but still wanna get a kick out of the story. Aside from that, this game is still very beatable(assuming theres no glitches preventing anyone from doing so) and although I haven't beaten the game myself, I do intend on beating it. I think you're trying to hard to emulate DMC gameplay, but its just not working with flash. I want to finish the story but its extremely hard to do so.
Finally, I'm gonna say this. By no means do you deserve a low score. This is a good game, just really over the top in difficulty. I think if the difficulty wasn't so bad, more people would overlook the glitches. However, part of being a great game is enjoyment, and well, the enjoyment levels here aren't exactly astronomical. I do want to see you continue the series, hopefully with some changes in gameplay and difficulty, but if you don't want to skimp on either of those, at least fix the glitches.
Oh, and I really hate the explody guys.
