Ship is way too big for this size, gameplay is the usual, graphics are average at best. I don't understand how this gets a 4+ score. It's not all that bad, but there are plenty better games of this kind.

reminder
i loved raiden trad for genesis, this game reminded me a bit of it. ya you can upgrade it, but then again, the game was kinda easy till i got to protector of darkness, there is no dodging his super lasers, no lie, wtf man? fix that.
the only reason im not giving a 10, or 9, is the fact that, the game, easy while on normal difficulty, yet one boss at the end killed me? that means you made it to easy to start and too hard to end. other than that, good game, music does get annoying though, set it up to change music on each level, maybe better reviews, i give it 7.
Good game, needs some work
Loved playing it. but several things kept getting stuck. For example, after doin a time attack mode, I could no longer play, because It hadn't recognized that I had any ships. And when I tried playing again, those damn credits won't come off the screen. 3/5, 6/10.

This game reminds me a bit of Xenon 2.
Nice and smooth scrolling, but not as grapically nice or good music as Xenon 2.
