Nothing special, new concept though.

Nice concept but at times I found it a little buggy....

hmm...

nice game, good work on it, but the whole 1button thing, compared with the rather more lucky then skill based concept is somewaht frustrating..i allmost gave up on easymode, and hardmode i didn't even try...

hmmm

It's kinda fun and decently a new idea.... not exactly the definition of "Innovative" since it means new and exciting. Basically you just skullfucked the left button into making us redo a level until we get it right only using the right arrow button.

I found the hittTests to be a little bit off and those who program in AS know what i mean. You just used the generic "Box" hitTest to see whether or not you're.... hiitting which chauses problems in rounded graphics games. That's 1 thing that just really irritated me and I thought was rather careless.

Regardless, it was decent and had me occupied for about 10 mins.

Skellus responds:

Well, I hate to say that you are on a bit wrong track here. Yes, each object has a rectangle for its "collision mask" but one thing is that I am not using the HitTest and second is that each collision mask is smaller than the graphics. So you can touch all enemies with edges of the player's "fur" and not die.

Smart, but not great

This was EXTREMELY frustrating, to the point where the satisfaction of beating a level was too low to negate the dissatisfaction of dying about a thousand times. It's an interesting and creative concept, I'll give you that, but overall didn't test well. Just goes to show that just because something is new doesn't mean its better. Also, explaining that one can walk through spikes (but not jump on them) would've lessened said dissatisfaction.

The concept is good. I think the gameplay could have been improved by having the player do more than just go to an exit (like maybe get power ups to kill enemies or being able to turn around after hitting a certain object). However, the medals are near impossible to get. I was only able to get three of them. The only way I foresee being able to get the rest is only if I were develop a form of spilt nanosecond timing in my reflexes and plan out each stage, calculating enemy position and speed... OR being able to turn around!
