Reviews for "Red Storm 2: Survival"

A damn shame

I'm not aware if the original Red Storm came out before the first Robokill or not, regardless, you have not made a worthy competitor. The multiplayer is unplayable, a lot of the upgrades you have to purchase with real money are standard in Robokill, and there doesn't seem to be any originality or improvement on the levels.

I'm not the type to judge a game because of its similarity to another or for microtransactions (for which I'm not a fan anyway,) but I don't see any real improvement over Robokill (which also required cash money for in-game items) especially anything worth paying for.

Get more creative with the missions and the level layout, balance the microtransactions better, and fix the multiplayer and you might have yourself a customer here with your next game.

And so this isn't entirely negative, controls worked fine single player and the graphics (although not varied enough) were pretty cool.

Badim responds:

sorry about multy-player - i`m alone who making that thing. its really takes a lot of time for that.

so far i really d like to recommend you to try Survival room - that should be fun )

i got up to level 6 and beat survival

this game was great coming into it and the pace was intense but after about 4 hours of playing (survival took me about 2hs and 30 minutes aprox.) i kind of got tired of the game :\ the enemies fired the same guns over and over and over... the landscape would change ever so slightly but actually i liked that sometimes it was hard to get around... why oh why does their have to be SOOO MANY!!!! breakable boxes with FEW REWARDS while their is SO FEW!!!! usualy 0-4 (4 BEING THE MAX) INVUNERABLE BOXES.... like cmon sometimes id rather just run and hide and watch as the other robots run and hide aswell - it would've added to the game alot more if their was a bit more of thoughs squares... because after discovering that the LAZERZ were the best with the best range/speed/accuracy i didn't even bother trying to hide i just had to dodge and aim and it made survival so much easier but THAT MUCH LESS ENJOYABLE - the life span of the game was good but it was basically me just running in circles shooting boxes killing red blue and green guys while collecting yellow red and blue keys - BORING!!!

your a moch for choosing moochi as your sponser... i can't believe you would bribe children into buying this crap.... because we all know adults won't but children with parents will.... greedy greedy greedy

Its somewhat good

It could be a lot better if money was easier to get and if the enemy's had drops like weapons or money also.

seriously?

didnt pass the tutorial cuz I got bored of it. movement glitchy, I can go thru walls, and also I'm not sure about this but I think I saw an invisible enemy. make these problems go away and maybe I'll think about it

Worth the time

The game definitely has its good points, and the different forms of weapons can create a few different forms of combat styles.

On the other hand, the upgrade cost feels like it scales a little steeply, this may simply be because you've built in a large amount more time that I've devoted, but it's also extremely difficult to nail that perfect spot, so it's not too major.

The major issue was that I seemed to lose a good deal of health between missions in the campaign mode, the most major drop I noticed was from 492 to only 406. Not certain if this is a bug or a feature, but it's a fairly obnoxious feature if it's not a bug.
