Flute is too loud
Muting the game because of that flute... way too shrill and loud... ruins the music.

Meh
Grind-based game; aka boring.
Luck based gameplay; aka little to no player imput need to play (as opposed to a game where player skill matters).. so its even more boring.
We can get hit by criticals hits (IMHO, never a good idea to allow critical hits on PC when you have a lonesome hero that gameover on death)
A single bettle did just that, i got critted to death in seconds. Not fun.
Controls are sloppy as hell, unintuiltive, cant walk in diagonals. Mouse CANT make us walk.. but cliking ennemy make us walk to them and autofight.. riiiight.
I want mouse control.
UI in market and sleeping (fade to white) is too slow, make it quicker.
Wehn we enter the shop, we should see straight away the buying window.. we can do both buy/sell from the same window so the steps in-between are unecessary and slow down gameplay.
Map transitions should be more obvious, sometime there are arrows, sometimes there arent any.
Boring and slow. Not much fun. Pretty and functionnal. Got bored within 10 minutes of playing.

Outstanding, i agree with the two reviews below: it reminds me so much of the early RPGs you could play on the 16 and 32 bit consoles and portables. this is a really great flash game, and it sucked me right in. one sugestion, is there anyway to get the controls to work so that you can move diagonally or just so that when you are, say moving right and an obstacle occurs you can just tap the left or right button to avoid and keep moving? it kinda sticks, but great work!
Pretty good play
I really enjoyed the little bit that I played this game, the gfx where very refreshing from some of the usual flash games. Reminded me of breath of fire gfx wise. REC. play!

Refrenceing the review below, the game is called dragon warrior monsters. It was a spinoff of the DW series. (one of my favs. actually)
You could easily find it, and an emul. online if you were so inclined. Would be a tremendous refrence for you and would push your game to the next level.
