Reviews for "Stitchland Conflict"

Reminds me

Of a game called Heavy Weapon on XBL Arcade.

nice

the music was good and graphics were normal but there i something missing...

SMASH & MASH

It's your basic side scrolling smash and mash your mouse (more like hold and spray your mouse) destroying all in the path. My only deal is that it needs incentive for really using the money only because the ammo seems unlimited. Otherwise, I felt nostalgic and liked playing.

Doesn't leave an impression.

Mechanics: The money becomes irrelevant very quickly. The player is seriously overpowered, even against bosses. Jump is strange; feels too fast throughout. Awards are very easy to get; the hardest is finishing a level with full health, but combine the shield with the frequency of the health drops and even it is trivial. Weapons are balanced understandably. Overheat mechanic works well.

Story: lol

Aesthetics: This seems to be the real point of this game, given it's called "Stitchland". Press button, watch numbers emerge from explosions. The style is certainly nice, but it isn't implemented thoroughly. The paratrooper looked pixelated, not like fabric. The background never changed. I muted the sound immediately because _there was no volume control_. Need that. But the music is short, repetitive, and the sound effects are appropriate and repetitive.

It's just... a game. You press things, things blow up, you get upgrades, numbers appear... For a timewaster, it's fine. For a game, it could be a lot better.

NOW THATS HOW YOU MAKE A GAME!

fantastic, frantic, and beautiful to look at.
