a Quick howto
1) Pick up all the tools near the coastline, first go to the right, then go to the left. (all tools are near the coastline)
2) If you need urgent sleep, there is a cave very close to the river (the river is to the utmost right of the map.
3) Build EVERYTHING close to the river.
4) Water can be found easily, when you are at the river.
5) Build a basic house, and basic prayer thing first.
6) You can also gather fish at the river, for food, it's pretty good, almost as good as apples.
7) Now you have water and food (river), basic shelter and motivation. From here on, you can figure this on your own.
extra) You need the tree skin for making rope
extra) You need logs for making boards
extra) If you plan to make a plantation, you still need seeds afterwards, but they will give 5 apples for each seed.
Beat the game on my first try.
