Jump glitch

Uh...I can't even get the character to jump high enough to advance through the first level. Fix that and any other bugs, and you have a cool concept.

Joelasticot responds:

My 14 years old cousin made it to level 18

Its good but glitchy

When you jump then land he stops for like 1 sec and also you slow down when you get damaged. That makes it pointless to get the upgrades if you constantly slow. Otherwise very addicting game, very fun, great art.

Joelasticot responds:

It's not a glitch that you lose speed when you get hit
You can also buy an armor, in the 4th world, that makes you lose no speed when you take damage. Thanks for te review!

Lol?? Is this a joke?

Ok,so cool game overall. And got adrenaline thats cool also.

But is that supposed to be trolling or something? After many tries i beat the secret level, only to find out ohh there is another secret thing which i cant even get since there is no way to get money once i got all the coins.

I spent it on stuff just for fun? Well that sucks since you cant sell anything, Reset progress? well not really, no can do. Guess i can erase the files on the comp that stores the info, but otherwise .... lame.

Joelasticot responds:

Uhhh.. you can kill some enemies!

Amazing Game!

All action, and very challenging!
And I really dont know why it's called discount mayonaise...

Joelasticot responds:

You'll find out if you beat it!

Front page was in dire need of something like this

An amazing experience, from start to end!

Very well made graphics, control of the character, and upgrades that do not alter the balance of the gameplay... one still needs great coordination to pass levels 10+.

But the most amazing feature is how you managed to turn a rage-quit game into a rage-replay game. It takes some careful level design to keep the player frustrated enough to need to finish it ("I won't fall for that trap the next time!"), but not too frustrated to quit ("forget it, I have work to do anyway").

Of course, as is alwaysthe case with an upgrade system, once you reach the top-notch equipment, interest drops a bit, but the adrenaline rush in itself was enough to keep the player amused till the end.

Another great (yet largely ignored) characteristic was how responsive the game works. I have a rather slow computer and most reflex games are impossible to play here, even in low quality. You somehow managed to keep resource consumption at a quite low level.

An amazing job! I salute you :)

Joelasticot responds:

I'm glad you liked it! I'm sure we lose many players due to the game's difficulty, but I'm happy to see a bunch of hardcore dudes can beat the game and get all the achievements.

Thanks for the review!
