Awesome and addictive game. I've been playing this thing all afternoon.
One problem: on my last playthrough (as an Esper on Easy, first time reaching the third area), I couldn't seem to get the Anomalous Materials badge to trigger even though I had two Pieces of Time (and, later, three). Is assembling them different from merely acquiring them, or is this a bug?

There's a little bug when buying the weapon and equip upgrades. If one of them is maxed out, at some point it might appear a guy trying to upgrade it more, though it's level is maxed, it still takes out your money. At some point it just becomes very easy to grind for money, principally on Area 2 where after you reach level 15-16 the only enemies you find are Discreet Bears, that are ridiculously weak. I think that even though you level up, the weak enemies should appear too instead of only the strong ones defined to the level you are, in the nethack difficulty is pretty hard to defeat the mob and the guad in the first area. And the Knight is the best character, you can easily pass every area without being hit once if you get enough armor to guard the atacks and counter after with bash. Still, the game is simply awesome and I can't stop playing it. Great job! :)
Yea, I'll fix it so that money comes low after a few levels.
Love the game, makes programming very hard to focus on throughout the day.
In level 1 i've been playing for over 3 hours and havent seen the maintenance shaft in some time, i dont want to leave the level til i get it, still grinding.

The Maitenence shaft isn't worth your trouble unless you're trying to find something specific - it's essentially a teleporter to any dungeon instance you want.
Great game, has had me hooked for a few hours.
One bug: I defeated Krillix, but the weapon he gave me was worse than the one I had previously (as a Merc, I got a 1.8x to replace my 2.0x).
