Intuitive and fun, very noice

This is amazing with my SNES controller.

The game is really nice, maybe a bit on the easy side. I beat the normal mode without ever losing once (as a matter of fact, I don't even know what is the lose condition). Not that I'm complaining.

The weapon all feel satisfying to use, even though more often than not I used only the railgun and the minigun (the base gun is underpowered if confronted to the other two, and the bomb is mostly situational).On the same note, some upgrades feel pretty useless (the detachable shield in particular is useful against only one kind of enemy and even then it's kinda meh).

The game, however, is a blast. The sprites look really good and the gameplay is fast paced and at times challenging when you have to manage energy and the large horde of enemies incoming. The absortion mechanic is really fun and original, since it's a reversal of the usual gameplay of this kind of shooter.

I agree that some upgrades are not that useful, that's just me failing as a game designer.
But I'm glad you liked the game!

Hard mode removes the automatic transfer of energy from your ship to the Canon, which forces you to really micromanage your energy. It may interest you.

As the charming of money upgrading and placing towers was gone, this new one is pretty nice and better in user (player) friendly as ones are no longer need to manage the limited space. You still do a great job.

I can't describe it any better than waveshocker.
