Did anyone every get to a point in a game where they cried? Or came close? I personally came close during Final Fantasy 7 right as Aerith gets stabbed... I'm sorry but the music they played and everything made it hard to hold it back the first time I played through... plus the two guys who were there watching were welling up, I saw them try to hold it back!
Well, in American McGee's Alice, right after you fight the Jabberwock, the Gryphon flies down and kills the Jabberwock and dies himself. There's also the point right before you fight the Red Queen that the cat dies. They were sad moments.
My answer to all of these topics come from the same game. I think I'm a bit obcessed.

in counter strike, i accidently threw a gernade at a teamate.
i killed 3 terroists but i killed him too. i started to tear up so i wiped the tears, then i got knifed.
after that im not sure what happend but when i woke up my computer was on fire.
When Aeris dies. I know everyone says that, but COME ON! That was the one moment that I realized Sephiroth must die.
And it made me cry!

I almost cried when i lost all my memory of my Tiger Woods game. If i beat one more guy, game over. But noooooooo. My memory card got erased.

when i was playing metal gear solid 2 and corrupted the file RIGHT at the end so i couldnt unlock various goodies grrrrrrrrr i almost cried
Endings of Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 are quite emotional.

I love watching Aeris die! She was useless and Sephiroth killed her! But not only did he kill her he made her cry when she was stabbed! Thats one of the main reasons why Sephiroth is so cool!
When I played Robotron 64...I got to level 100, hoping it would be the final level...then finding out there were 400 more levels to go.
I cried my eyes out, then shut the game off.

Oh yeeah, when Brooklyn dies in Big Red One. That was pretty emotional, too.

Anyway, another moment I thought of is when E.E. is killed in Metal Gear Solid 2. After killing Vamp for the FINAL time, I expected a "Yay! I saved her life!" Nope.

If I have to pick one I'd say the ending for MGS3. It was hyped to be the narration of what made Big Boss the "greatest soldier" and it's not until the very end that you're told there's someone greater.

In silent hill 2, when James finds out he was his wifes murderer. Also the endings made me tear up.
I occasionally cry in laughter during 3-way Halo 2 games with my brothers. Occasional splattering can get funny the way it ticks one of them off.
