Reviews for "Red Code 2"

Horrible

Stiff controls... Die to easy.... your ammo runs out to quick and the monsters are to strong... ALSO your health is to little -_- 0/10

Fairly good

In all honesty, I have to admit, I liked the game. I loved the first one, but this one was pretty good too.

The gameplay was good, I liked that you brought back the whole "1 vs 1 million" theme back, battling an endless horde of bugs. However, I didn't really like the whole Hologram deal. It would have been much better if you simply put an AI that would follow you around and shoot on its own. The fact that it would only fire when you did totally destroyed the whole "back to back" theme on the final level. I found no point in it, and by that time I didnt even need a hologram, because you never upgraded him, you upgraded yourself. So by the final level I had a fully upgraded burst weapon and destroyed everything, and then he was Just firing once when I was firing high-powered beams.

I liked the upgrade system, however, as it gave you a lot of options. The only annoying this is that you never needed to upgrade more than 1 gun. I just suped upgraded the burst weapon and I ended up destroying everything with no help at all, even from the hologram. I barely used Grenades, and when I did I only used them for fun. But hey, the options were there, which were nice.

I liked the graphics, they weren't over the top, but they were nice and simple, and were perfect for this game. It gave the right light, if you know what I mean, to this game.

When I first started, I was hoping "nice! I loved the first one, I hope I get the turret again!" But sadly I found out that there was no turret :( instead I found a hologram who, in the 1st and 2nd stages could come quite in handy, but by the 3rd stage he was becoming obsolete and the 4th stage he was outright useless. And again, I bring up the suggestion of instead of a hologram, you give us a 2nd trooper who can slowly upgrade himself, instead of us having to upgrade him (which I never did, really, it didnt make sense for me to)

7/10 stars, for likeable graphics, a great storyline (Except the ending! that was terrible! Gah! I was hoping for something good and instead, just a ship comes up? That dissapointed me) and decent gameplay.

Stiff controls

The game play and the story was pretty good but the controls weren't as responsive as I had hoped.

Worse then the first

I was sooo looking forward to this. But after playing this and going back to the original i realized the 1st one had a MUCH better gameplay system. 1 man vs this alien onslought....now its u and a fucknig hologram with shitty controls and a over the top upgrade system which even after maxing everything does not help as much as 1 or 2 small upgrades did in the 1st.

However, i have high hopes for a 3rd red code to b better then 1 and 2.

jumping sux

loved the first one, and this in fun too, but i didnt get to the second generator. you make one wrong jump, and you're pretty much boned. i want to be able to see the ground so i know where im jumping!!!! and when you die, you have to completely restart! bogus. thats y i never made it to the second generator. i dont want to have to run through all that just to try and jump over the pits again.

also, i had to refresh the page because it didnt load up on first try. i know ppl have said it, but...well, there ya go.

so, save files, fix teh jumping, and fix the ad in the begining
