Pretty damn good game, with a few flaws.
The upgrade system was intuitive as always, but so spread out that it made deciding what to upgrade slightly confusing (not to me personaly but from the comments a lot of people suffered from this)
The "evolution" mode is awful, and completely pointless. The laser cannon that replaces the shotgun is terrible, i'd rather keep the shotgun. Ditto with the "plasma balls", I nearly lost when I got to the end after finding the game ridiculously easy because the evolved weapons just couldn't cope.
A continue mode for the bitchers, though again I didn't feel one was neccesary.
A smoother, longer game or a "keep playing" mode, I like to max everything out which I couldn't do here.
Tell the player what the evolution will lead to, I hated the guessing for the hex cubes and evolutions, ended up with options I wouldn't necesarily have used.
The hologram was good, but the "back to back" option was awful, I never used it and creamed the game, but I hated having to flick back and forwards.
