Wonderful
I absolutely loved it everything was to my content. Only thing I would fix is to have more of a variety of combat robots and to add more evolution cards. other than that amazing,I hope theres a second one.

Simple but engaging
I liked the generally simple mechanics and goals. It was a fun little skirmish that stayed interesting to the end. I also liked the way you did the evolutions: limited amounts so both sides could eventually get them all, but retaining the benefit for the sci-bots getting them earlier (+resource owns if you get it early).
There aren't many improvements I'd suggest. It might be nice if you could pick your opponent (i didn't notice if there was a way to do this). Also, the layout of the map can really dictate an easy vs difficult terrain to defend. Perhaps even a choice of a few pre-made ones in addition to random.
I would *love* to have a pathfinding ability. I don't know how tough that is to program, but being able to one-click my bots through my gauntlet of walls would have made me much happier.
Overall, this is certainly a game I will come back to when I want to kill a few minutes. I'd be wary of including too much like expanded upgrades or bot choice, but I do think this needs a bit more of *something* to really become a lasting fixture. Still, excellent game and I fully support your continued work in what I hope will become a series.
Good Game
It's a pretty good game, something that might be a good idea is to make this multiplayer or make the hard level harder, it took very little strategy to win on that level.
