Reviews for "Alphaland"

Well thought out, loved it.

I don't quite understand what other people are on about, I understood the game well enough to understand what was happening (at least I think I did, it certainly didn't detract from the fun if I misunderstood.) I really loved it, so much that I played a second time to really take it all in. Some people seem to have given this a poor review because they didn't understand it, I don't really think thats fair, because over all this game managed to make an impact on me, and I really enjoyed playing it. While I think perhaps some parts where a little frustrating I felt that it was worth it in the end.
Great stuff!

i dont get it

its fun for a while but i just dont get the point of the game >.>

if you just keep moving you beat it

it is verry weird so WTF

Good idea gone bad

The idea of the game is original, but it could have been executed in a much better way. A more detailed backstory would have created a more interesting backdrop while playing the game. And the fact that you don't know where to go or what to do just don't cut it for me.

Nice try, but this time I didn't like it. Maybe I'll like your future games :)

Best thing I've played all week

This game deserves an 'A' for concept and execution. It's a clever thought-- the player falls in between the pixels of an ordinary game and instead explores the dark workings of what goes on behind the scenes; the processors and logic functions which power the game. Like exploring the world of Tron, but darker. Very well done-- the objective of the game isn't evident as soon as the player is thrust into this world, so instead we're encouraged just to explore. Areas closed off are open after a while, a la Metroid. Very well done; deserving of Game of the Week.
