More like Diamond Story. Perfect game!

When I first found this on the NG frontpage, I was curious. I clicked it and began, and I was thoroughly impressed. Fluent movement, classic RPG style fights and leveling system, a comedic, but riveting, story accompanied by even more comical side quests, unforgettable music, and a vast variety of equipment.

Each character is different and interesting in their own ways; I always viewed Tristam as the quarky leader, Kaeli as the serious dependant, Pheobe as the comic relief that literally kicks arse, and Rueben as the quiet undertaker and lady's man. They all had so much life given to them in the main quest, and even the side quests. I always try to give each one a specific skill/style that specifies each character. Tristam is my all-around fighter, Kaeli is my sure-shot physical and somewhat strong magical fighter, Pheobe is my strong-hitting, but inaccurate, physical and strong magical fighter, and Rueben is my somewhat physical, but very powerful magical fighter.

This game is one of my all-time favorites on NG for its simplicity, but fresh take on a timeless genre of gaming. You, my friend, have impressed a hard critic. Good luck in your future works. As for this one, it gets the HawkeyedElite Seal of AWESOME!

Awesome

An awesome RPG that is light-hearted in it's characters attitudes, and the plotline, which makes it funny.

One thing I've become aware of, the main difference between armors is that they raise a different combination of stats (usually 2), pretty much by the same amounts, the only difference being which (2) stats are raised.

I don't think it's an issue (it isn't to me), but I also noticed they all want seem to want to lower the exact same stat in a tradeoff.
A single armor will lower the accuracy of all except Phoebe, who will instead have her speed lowered instead.

I like the random dungeon option, it allows one to continue fighting monsters which grow stronger as you level up (This means above Level 50 as well)
So this option is great for the player who still wants more.

this game is so good that i think evenone sud play it. some medals are easy to get.
