ta dude...I woulda liked to include more upgrades, but then it probably woulda needed more levels to earn the money to buy them and even making just 13 levels was a bit of a strain...so I'm glad you liked the ones I managed to get in there.
Nice idea. The models for the ships could be better though. I'm diggin' the music!

yeah I really like the music on this.
I think the quality of the ship models is very variable: some of them I'm really proud of, others not so much.
One thing that tickles me is the knowledge that they're all entirely procedural models, including the faces on the bosses....I know that's kinda irrelevant but I'm sorta pleased that it's not immediately obvious how they where made.
Pretty nifty. BUT!
It's also frustrating. Perhaps that's just because I'm not skilled when it comes to shooters in general, but lag also plays a big role. Most of the time, the game's too slow, sometimes to the point of not being playable at all anymore.
I also found that it's far too easy to leave the playing area with the mouse and have your ship stop reacting when it's the least convenient. Maybe a border around the playing area would help with that.

I did notice the losing-mouse-control problem, but I couldn't really see a solution at the time...now you mention it a border around the play area would probably have been a good idea.
Reminds me of galaga.
