Reviews for "Perdition"

cool theres some bugs here and there but the story in this is awesome i love these weird freaky storys of strange futures gives me all different types of ideas on what or even if there was a human race in this world……..might play it another day also for the other endings if i try and see them all at once i get the feeling it'll just get really repetitive and i might lose interest

It feels good, but lacking gameplay dynamics. The style is too reminiscent of Amon's work to feel personal, but the guy is clearly a fan and tributes are the most sincere form of flattery. Perhaps he simply needs some time to find a style of his own - in the meantime this is an excellent first attempt, but a little too staid compared to it's ascending inspirations.

a VERY, very good game. When a game is deep enough to make me want to experience all it has to offer, while being simple enough to get that experience without loads of work, it's a good game.

Some bugs though...
Firstly, the first time I ran into 'tanas' (nice anagrams by the way- I got both of them), I ran right into him and killed him, yet it still gave me the 'spared tanas' achievement >.>
Secondly, One time I reloaded, and when I did, the underground area where we meet tanas in person glitched and instead of halos, there were guns everywhere, preventing me from avoiding his influence.
Lastly, in the tower at the end, in the area directly to the right of the respawn point (the point that has a gun on either side) I ran into a recurring glitch; I'd grab a gun, jump off to the right, then move a bit to the right. I'd get a command from gamodi (again, nice anagram) to not fight- above me, running to and fro, there would be a spider executioner. I'd jump up onto the platform, and try to shoot it... but then my character would just sit there and do nothing. I'd hit the fire key several times afterwards, but again, nothing- then mr spider would come over and cut my head off. I think this glitch is related to gamodi getting ticked at the player, because while I never got the angry gamodi message, it still counted as a disobey- because I still got the 'sinner' achievement at the end.

Anyways, these small glitches aside, the game was really great. Kudos on an engaging experience! :)

This game is a living proof why simple platformers can give you a far better fun time than AAA games! The story was gorgeous and the constant ability to make choices blended so well with it. I haven't played through all options, but I intend too when I have the time, I want to get all medals and see all endings. Why? Because the game tells me to with its great animations, music and art style...and I'm but a simple Android that has to OBEY! :) Great job Carrill. As one game developer to another, you did an awesome job! Hope to see even more out of you.

A glitch happened to me, I was moving and clicked x at the same time, I fell off a platform and the next thing happened was me unable to move. But overall, still a good game.
