now im confused. ive been told that she does die, but now she isnt. i mean, the same thing happened with the first Doctor; he died and came back

Season 2 was great last night but putting Catherine Tate in at the end ruined the sad atmosphere.

Because the doctor said that rose was officialy dead in the real world.

What happened was that Rose was taken to a parralell universe with her mom, but because their bodies weren't found in The Doctors Universe, they were palced on the list of the dead. Even though she is actually alive in the other universe, everybody in the " real" world thinks she's dead.

Damn it...it's hard to explain. It'll make more sense when you see the series finale for the 2nd series.

i get it. its not that hard to explain. but that leaves to the story open to have her back in a couple seasons, you know? she gets out of the universe and we have a whole new adventure to get the mom out

Yeah, that's what the Doctor said, and then it turned out the Daleks, the cybermen and Mickie and Co could all do it :-) So I think they probably could do it again if they REALLY wanted to, it would just rip a hole into the Void again and destroy both the universes.

I just noticed something. Woudln't any cybermen made on Earth not be killed since they're not covered in 'void stuff'? So they wouldn't be sucked in. Like that woman who fought the other cybermen, she hadn't crossed dimensions before.

Good point. But the technolgy and the armor used to make cybermen came through the void so they would have got sucked in anyway.
