Well the thing is...im notin the best financial situation right now...and the price of the miniatures and paints and the requierd rulebooks and all...well i gota either wit until the price drops(wich is unlikely)or try out the game and see if i like it...I gotta say unless games workshop makes its games more available to the general people(people who would play it if the price wasent so steep) it is going to strangel itself to death...

Another good Army to Song:

Necrons: Daft Punk - Da Funk

A very good song for alien/robots if you ask me. I was very luck to come across this. I was on my way home from a hobby shop after I had just bought the Necron rulebook and some figures. I was reading the rulebook(mostly just looking at the pictures) when this song came on. Had the song stuck in my head all day, even when I was gluing the Necrons, even though they always snap in half and require multible layers of glue. Oh, and my Dad was driving by the way.

At least you get to play. People just kick me out of games before they even start. I've only played 3 multiplayer games since I bought it in december.

Such is the drawback of online strategy gaming, gets full of arseholes that ruin it.

Played a game last night, Genestealers vs. Guard, with a human militia team trapped in the middle of it all. 'Stealers got slowed down by militia, and took a few casualties before wiping them out, but because of the scenery, couldn't get a decent shot on the 'stealers. Ended up in H2H, but still won. Went through entire Rammstein and Franz Ferdinand collection by the time game finished!

P.S New poll. Old Space Marine Vindicator cannon or the new one?

Hi all, I'm back from scotland.
Thanks for making me catch up on two fricken pages of comments! Grrr. Ah well, at least its not as bad as on SheezyArt!
Ok, news from me so far is:

Golden Demon entries are nearly ready for their photo-shoot and emailing. TH, I'll probs send them to you over IM if I see you online, it'd be easier that way.

Game Engine I'm coding in Action Script for a friend on Sheezy is almost completed. It's currently on my sheezy page (njb.sheezart) and it should be fun.

Nothing much else really, just felt I should have at least 3 things in the list, Oh, my hard drive is still f**ked, so not much else is happening as far as it's concerned dammit!

its a vehicle based on Rhino chassis with a hull mounted cannon that serves as an artillery role against heavier targets.

Although with a range of only 10" its hardly really artillery, its really just something that if you can get it close enough, can be used to smash practically anything. Even Scatter rolls aren't all that important with it because when you're only firing 10" with an ordnance template at strength 10, its not too worrying where it hits just so long as it's not your own units!

I rarely field it, the fact that:
ordance can't move and fire
Rhino armour is $hite
The Range is only 10"

means that in most situations, it's pretty useless unless you need something REALLY strong to kill say, a BaneBlade, then take at least 2 or 3!
Usually I prefer my Land Raider or Predator Annihalator, I field Lascannons and lots of them!
(Staff often ask me why I don't collect Deathwing DarkAngels as my tactics are very similar. - Reason, I like to be able to retreat when I want to! Not stand around stubbornly as my squad members get killed by that big chaos beastie!)

Isn't it range 24" - well still too shot for any thing good.
but if you fit under template, you are transported to a world of fun opps.... I mean pain

Under new rules, range 24" and I think 2D6 scatter...

Ah well, at least they've increased the range, the scatter doesn't really matter that much as the main targets you'll be using that kind of firepower against will be huge and hard to miss even with scatter!
