Anyway 2 things.First what is your favorit army what is your color sceme for you army and(if aplicable)What is the backstory to your prefferd army?

Secondly is it technecly legal in a tabeltop game to asymilate units from 2 different(but allied) armys.Like say a imperial guard army with some space marine units...

i can make grunge or tech sigs, since i think those best suit this topic. if you want one, just post the pic and/or phrase you want in it, and ill make you it. come to think of it, id actually like to join the crew. can I? i really would like to get back into 40k and here is the best place to do so. check my sig to see what i can do.

Hey i made a backstory for a space marine chapter that is i get the tabeltop game this is probably gonna be what it is.

The Cadian Vanguard

Homeworld:Cadia

The Cadian Vanguard are a realatively new space marine chapter.They have been in existance for only 17 years.The marines of the Cadian vanguard are proud of every Guardsman that is trained on Cadia and as such they conscrip several regiments to fight alongside them in there feilds of battle.The youth of the chapter means that they have no Dreadnaughts as of yet and there combat doctrine's are not set in stone.Most commanders in the Cadian Vanguard Use the Codex Astartes as a book of guidelines but they will happily use any tactic that will destroy there enemys. The Space marine's recognition for the guardsmen is such that most regard them as highly as there fellow marines.

So what do you thingk of that huh.Also is feilding impiral guardsmen and space marines in the same army against the rules?

I like the back story, as for fielding, i think its fine if they're allied, I'm not sure, you need one of our resident Walking 40k Encyclopedias to answer that one.

Just a quicky here lads, not another five days till my full return though!

Unfortunately (sp), Space Marines and Imperial Guard armies may NOT ally. (Numerous reasons, though most important are the Doctrines and Traits systems that would be punishing) Only Inquisitorial forces may team up with one of these two under strict circumstances. The only way to realize this plan is to play with two seperate force org. charts.
