Heh I'm currently reading the gospel of the flying spaghetti monster

Also I am now trying to find a cheap pirate costume to wear when I use the computer

As a devout and practicing Pastafarian, It pleases me greatly to see more public praise for the almighty Spaghetti Monster.

Lord-Commander Lemartes of the Red Angels, sons of Sanguinius, at your service! I have a less-than-800pt army that's still growing, and I took a Flash animation class in school last year. I'm running the trial version of Flash, but I'm buying an educational license next week. It's great to see so many people into 40k- I'm working on three games: Make-a-Chapter, Landspeeder Assault, and the How Warhammer Works Series, explaining how the technology of Warhammer 40,000 would work in real life. First on my list is HWW: Boltguns. LA is based off of another I've made, so it'll be quick.

Brookman, I have an idea for your story. Make it an alternate universe where Horus won the battle and a few loyalist space marine chapters and regiments of the imperial army went into hiding. Then all the "order" races ( eldar, imperials, tau) joined together and fought to take control of the universe from chaos.

Response to Warhammer 40.000 Crew 2007-01-03 04:45:26

Sorry, but I don't deal with alternate realities. Besides, the Tau did not become a major race until M41

The humans were in hiding till 41st millenium because they were building up resources and manpower. Would've been a good story though.

I sincerely doubt that they would go into hiding for ten thousand years, just so they can join forces with an arrogant race of upstart neo-communists.

As said before, I don't deal with the alternate, there is no fun in it. Sure, one could write the ideal happy ending, but the truth is that it's not satisfying. The reason why people write such things is because they can't handle the warped reality that 40K is. They can't stand it that it is so cruel and brutal, with no happy endings or glorious victories.

No, I've found a subject to work on, the first chapter should be done before the end of the month, writer blocks be damned, pens with no infinite ink be cursed and smexy ladyfolk be blessed for being smexy.

Flint tore a piece of pipe from the wall and impaled Hopper with it, hot steam belching from it through the corpse. ‘Why won’t you blow some steam?’ Flint remarked, lighting a new cigar. Hopper reached out, grabbing Flint by the throat. ‘Flint, you are still only good. Me? I’m the best!’ Flint slowly removed the hand from his throat, sneering in reply ‘You may be the best Hopper, but I’m the fucking bomb.’ Flint reached for a grenade, pulling the pin and shoved it into the pipe. ‘Have fun staving off this ulcer bitch!’ Flint jumped away just in time as the grenade exploded, ripping Hopper apart. Flint blew out a puff of smoke, holding his cigar in his hand, gloating over his kill. A little further back the lieutenant had seen the whole fight, a bleeding Kurt still leaning against her. ‘Oh that was just,’ she paused as she searched for the right words for a moment. ‘Ah, that was just fucking cheesy and weak!’ Kurt gave a cough. ‘Let him be, he’s got a flair for drama. Let him have his moment of glory.’ She hushed him up, reminded of his wound by the warm blood trickling down her back and legs. ‘Stay with me, you’ll be fine. Don’t you dare to go dying on me.’ He mumbled something about not daring it.

Ok so I have a rather odd question about modeling:

What is the best way to make an Afro?

Yes thats right Afros I'm looking to earn my army a greater favor from Afroduck

So anyways should I try using green stuff or is there an alternate way to give my warriors some afros?

ok i don't really play 40 K but i am familiar with it. i play Warhammer fantasy (and according to pple i play with) know the rules pretty damn well. my favourite warhammer fantasy army is the orks. and i do have some Impirael guard tanks. at one point i was gonna mkae a tank army. but decided just to stick with fantasy once my dad knocked my best tank tank off the shelve and destroyed it *cries* . anyway can I join?

I had an image of a Catachan with 'fro, sadly it is lost. The creator used the cushion-thingy that comes in blister packs to keep the contents whole and snug. With some cutting and positioning it'll look good enough.

Or you could go for the green stuff. Though you will need a lot of research, I suggest looking at many afro pictures before starting out.

and God-Emperor, how I love it so. I've spent many months occasionally adding to the comprehensive history of my regiment. I'm using it as an exercise of anti-conventional character usage, and was mainly inspired by the exploits of the characters I controlled during Med V. Nothing's more fun than to write a complete novel on a character, only to have him die insignificantly and pointlessly. As is the way of the delicious, brutal universe of 40k!

Oh and I'm making a collab. It's called Warhammer 40,000 Random Stuffs.(unless someone has a better name)
It's just a whole bunch of random W40K stuff.

I already have 5 parts.
PM me if you want to take part.
