Very decent mixed space shooter..

.. but seems a tad too hard, either up the amount of credits enemy's give by like x3, or make the main cannon shoot several times faster to start with.

Its really awesome its very easy once you get the four fighter bays all upgraded though

I spent a good 10 hours playing this, over and over. Old concept, amazing reworking, interesting plot, and overall enjoyable game.

Rather than just pointing at the enemy, players must actually calculate trajectory of where the ship will be when the bullet gets there, a lot like stormwind.

A+!!!

It is pretty good, but aiming is just terrible when you want to hit something

God it looks fun! I love the concept!
I want to play it , i know i would enjoy it.. But..its painfull to play!

Biggest problems: Losing turrets permanently is making the game a lot harder. It waste our ressources on both fronts; we can pay to repair it, and losing it waste cash.

Our main gun bullets are too slow (and weak)! So impossibly slow that it is useless at all ranges, only point-blank is "reliable". Speed it up or allow it as an upgrade. Maybe balance it with lower fire rate and higher damage? I mean, the gun is almost as big as an ennemy figher..

We can (and will) lose turrets permanently. I dont mind to lose turret IF they can be repaired back to full hp after a while for free, so i dont waste the small amount of ressource we get.

We can lose our main gun. In other words; we can lose control on the only thing we can control.

Turret information is confusing and incomplete; it write 0 everytwhere and yet the turret is functionnal. What is the basic value for.. all turrets stats??
It should read something like "current value" "new value if upgraded" "cost"

Drones seems (im not sure, but one stay ed on a demolished turret and never moved again) to lock up on dead turrets, trying to repair what cannot be repaired.

--Turrets doesnt seem balanced at all, upgraded laser seem way too good, while FLAK seems very, very poor, but since i have no clue as what are the real stats for the turrets (we only see the bonus), i cant say for sure.

-There should be some upgrade to imrpove the armor (damage reduction) and/or structure (max hp) of our mothership. Also, should be able to build autorepair "drones" dedicated to the mothership

-at bit too much of the action happens off-screen.

-we can pay to repair turrets, but we cant to repair the mothership.. why?

Fun stuff-
-debris in space, big ennemy capital ships (i like the gray arrow one) , interesting designs, varied ennemies. fun. I like the little "explosions" when laser hit big ennemy ships.

i noticed that we can sell turrets, even when they are heavily damaged, at "full" ~80% price of construction.

Now that i look at it.. Our ship is a Vaygr Carrier from homeworld2.. with some extras on it. Nice.

Some flaws, but it has lotsa potential and its just my kind of game too.

ha, i was wondering when someone will notice the hw 2 look-alikeness :)

the drones work like this: they find the closest damaged turret and repair it and if the carrier hp drops under 25%, they switch to repair the hull. if there's no turret damaged, they will repair the hull in place. if the turret has died, they repeat the steps above. this is why you may trick the drones by "quick repairing" the turrets as they will switch on repairing the hull.

dont place the turrets in the front hardpoints in the beginning of the game, use the middle then the rear hardpoints.

as all the programming and 95% of the graphics were done by me, i had to cut corners on tasks in order to release the game in the allocated time frame. thanks for pointing out issues, i'll try to address them in a possible addon.
