Germany got the 2 Points... sorry for that ^^"

Considering tomorrow's category is consistency and the block vote is mine, I'm pretty sure Japan is gonna get a comeback and get a last minute steel, so I'm putting my bet on Japan.

Also, thanks Nimble, goes straight to the heart! Really enjoyed your's too, feels very representative of the romantic era!

Wouldn't that mean Mexico gets 28 points, and Germany 56?

Kinda glad I did better in Entertainment, if not anything else. ^^

Yours and Japan's submissions were both breathtaking in their own unique ways. May the best man win :)

Wow! from 6th to 1st on the last vote. To take the victory from France by 2 points I don't think anyone could have predicted that. What a way to end the contest.

At this point I'd just like to give out a big thanks to NeonProject for putting this together. It was really well organised and for him I'm sure was nerve-wrecking at times. Really deserves our praise and I hope will be willing to put on another one next year because I had an absolute blast doing it and it's helped me become a bit more active here.

To conclude: Congratulations Turkey!

Changes to next years contest

Next year the country selection procedure will go back to participants selecting any country and being approved.

The top 5 of 2012 will be invited to return and submit their tracks before the 2013 contest launch so that we have 5 entries on the table. The countries are the ones that qualify, not the artist, the artists will be invited first but if they decline other artists will be contacted to represent that country.

Evidence and Representation will become one singular score.

2 new jury categories will be introduced; the first one will be called 'Contribution' these points will be awarded to participants who regularly post in the thread and review other works before the submission deadline. This will encourage more participation and contact from and between entrants. The second will be called 'Promotion' and will combine your entries voting score, download count, and views in a score. This will encourage artists to work harder to get an early finish and push for promoting their song before the submission deadline.

Didn't you read the small print in the opening post that said in font size 0.00001 "by entering the contest NeonProject will own all your music as well as personal belongings including but not limited to your house".

Always read the small print xD

You also forgot the part that says I own your souls.

Response to Represent A Country 2012 [Contest] 2012-03-31 16:02:09

Woah! I just about shit my pants after reading that! To think that an experimental artist such as myself could actually win first place... That's really cool!

I'm proud to have represented such an amazing country for this contest. I don't think I could've won with any other country. I'd like to thank all the participants and judges. Of course, NeonProject too. I was hoping there'd be more submissions, but it was a good go anyway.

Just for the record... France is my favourite entry. >.>

Okay seriously, most unexpected ending to a contest. EVER.

Was mostly expecting France or Japan to win, but Turkey just clinched the win at the final day. :o Congratulations to all the participants and of course the host as well.

Even though I came last, it wasn't a totally horrible performance considering I basically made my entry within 3 days. ^^

Well I actually thought that the plan was to put this on a CD or something...

Thanks for letting me join, NeonProject. It was my pleasure

Don't do it, man! If everyone did electronic music for the contest, it'd be extremely boring.

Nah! Stick with your style!
You could collaborate next year with an electronic artists and you could keep your style whilst also using the techniques of the electronic artist! Haha, RAC is yet to see its first collaborative entry ;)

Woah crap you can do collab? I obviously didn't read the rules thoroughly X(

But seriously I would probably do a collab next time. I thought I was definitely going to place last, but I came 4th! I'm happy for that.

Any way we could get some trophy banners to show off?

Just asking of course, it'd only seem worthy to brag about! :P
