His wife probably got him his position on the Supreme court, given her family lineage and her conservative activism in salting the federal courts with conservative activists, while accepting money from conservative cause that her husband ultimately benefited from - oh, and Clarence was the only justice to vote against releasing white house papers that the Jan 6th panel wanted, probably because some of them involved his wife trying to overturn the election. You must be so proud of him.

What's "flawless" about it? It's a stacked deck.

There will absolutely be more abortion issues that will eventually reach the Supreme Court as a consequence of this decision, chief among them the issue of anti abortion states prosecuting individuals who travel to a legal state to get their abortion.

The rest of the federal government has been prepared for this decision, but is ill-equipped to be providing any sort of meaningful response. It will almost purely be a state issue for the next few years as the battle shifts to electing enough state reps to push back against Handsmaid Tale-like legislation.

If the overturning of Roe v. Wade doesn't show that the US Supreme Court needs serious reform or should be outright abolished altogether, then I don't know what else will. Some of the decisions they've made over the past few days, especially this one, have been outright dystopian and only add on to the many, many, many reasons why I think the US supposedly being the "land of the free" is a complete and utter bullshit statement.

This ruling is one of the most disgusting repeals of human rights I've ever seen in this country. It's a complete repudiation of the separation between church and state, not to mention a grossly unpopular opinion that will lead to decades of hardship while also setting a very scary precedent.

I have a friend that's trying to become a lawyer right now. He basically said that so many precedents are in jeopardy because of this court alone. These decisions hurt everyone.

Let's see... This week the US Supreme Court expanded gun rights with a disastrous and vague decision that basically allows anyone to get a gun permit, while overturning Roe vs Wade, as if they want the country full of fear and death.

Even by USSC standards, these decisions are very lengthy. This suggest the decisions attempt to stomp out any loopholes or ambiguity.

This post might be extremely controversial if read the wrong way (so try and read the whole entire thing), but bare with me.

Coming from a Libertarian's standpoint in this whole Abortion thing, I am smack right down the middle of this whole debate, like the exact center line between Pro-Abortion and Anti-Abortion, in fact, I'm more Neutral in this whole Debate, and I'll explain why.

Plus, I even hate to admit from my Libertarian views, this is the one thing that can't get us (Libertarians) to compete against the Duopoly (That's Democrats & Republicans f.y.i.), because we can't get our shit together regarding the whole Abortion issue, like are we for it or against it? Because we Libertarians is completely Neutral on Abortions.

The reason why I'm against Abortion is not because of anything to do with Religion, I already have my huge gripe about Religion and how people want to shove their religious nonsense down everyone's throats (shit, I can create a huge 8,192 character post just describing why I despise religion and such). It's mostly that, if Abortion is legal, hell, might as well legalize Murder and Homicides while we are at it, because isn't Abortion basically Murder, because you're purposely killing another living being, because isn't killing your own kind the definition of "Murder".

The reason why I'm for Abortion is because of my Libertarian believes that everyone has a right to do whatever they wish to do, like I'm one of those guys that say "As long as it doesn't affect me personally, I don't give a shit what you do", so if you don't want a child, then don't, that's on you, not on me.

This is why I don't like to debate or even want anything to do with this whole Abortion issue, because this issue alone tears me completely apart, because if I'm for it, I'll hate my own self (supporting basically Murder); and if I'm against it, I'll hate my own self (because going against people's freedoms, and I support everyone having complete freedoms), that is why I'm staying Neutral in this whole discussion.
